JS Industries is looking for a qualified individual to become the lining specialist in the company's growing lining department. Successful candidates will be required to oversee their department with the focus being on liners and patches. Occasional crossover duties will be required in supporting the trenchless department, heavy equipment operations and assisting with other duties as required.

Lining Specialist – Job Description
General Duties
-
Oversee and execute all liner and patch installation procedures
-
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients
-
Prepare inspection reports and post-rehabilitation reports for client insurance purposes
-
Organize additional work as required to complete trenchless procedures
-
Manage and organize coworkers in trenchless operations
-
Coordinate projects with management, staff, and clients
-
Aid other staff in trenchless jobs such as jetting and reservoir cleaning
-
Establish and maintain positive, relationship with co-workers
-
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Valid driver’s license required, minimum class 5 license but 3A preferred
-
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
-
Mechanically inclined
-
Water/sewer background is an asset
-
Able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs
-
Ability to travel and be away for multiple consecutive days
-
Able to work long hour days when project timelines require
-
Able to communicate with clients via telephone and in person
-
Able to apply knowledge and problem-solving skills in a timely manner to respond to issues
-
Organized and able to coordinate and manage co-workers in trenchless tasks
-
Team work ethic and personable
-
Excellent communication skills with co-workers and clients

Able to take instructions from co-workers

Possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
CLOSING DATE: when position is filled

WAGE RANGE: $22 - $30/ hour depending on qualifications and experience.
(40 hours / week with increased hours in summer season)
